Leader in Me at LGE
Lavern Gaynor Elementary is a Leader in Me Lighthouse School since 2023!
Our students and staff are honored to announce that Lavern Gaynor Elementary School has been certified as a Leader in Me Lighthouse School by FranklinCovey Education. This certification is due to the efforts and leadership of the 2022-2023 students, staff, and school community. Achieving Lighthouse Certification demonstrates that our school has a strong leadership model and has produced outstanding results in school and student outcomes in learning and leading using the habits and paradigms of the Leader in Me model.
We are proud of the extraordinary impact Leader in Me continues to have on students, families, and our greater community. Thank you for your continued support and partnership as we begin our fourth year here at Lavern Gaynor Elementary School where we are a “League of Leaders”!
As a Leader in Me School, we work hard to Incorporate the habits, skills and strategies that promote the development of the unique leadership abilities of each of our students. Our LGE Sea Turtles will grow both academically and personally as they set and work towards their Wildly Important Goals (WIGS). Students track their lead measures and progress toward their goals every week in their leadership binders. Our Sea Turtles love working with their accountability buddy and their buddy grade levels to keep focused on their WIG.
